What is the Sunrise Cash Cow?
The Sunrise Cash Cow is one of Australia’s most popular daily TV competitions. Each weekday during an active competition period, Sunrise reveals a new code word live on air between 5.30am and 9am on Channel 7 and 7plus. You enter the code word along with your details, and each day one entrant is randomly drawn and called live on Sunrise to win the day’s cash prize.
The daily prize starts at $2,000 and jackpots each day a winner does not answer their phone within three rings. When the jackpot rolls over the prize pool keeps growing, sometimes reaching tens of thousands of dollars.
How to Enter Sunrise Cash Cow
- Watch Sunrise weekdays from 5.30am on Channel 7 or 7plus to catch the daily code word.
- Enter your details and the code word via the official entry form on sunrise.com.au. The entry deadline is 4.30pm each weekday.
- Keep your phone close. If you are drawn as a winner, Sunrise will call you live on air during the program. You must answer within three rings to claim the prize.
- If a winner does not answer, they receive a $100 consolation prize and the jackpot continues to grow for the next draw.

The June to July 2025 run was sponsored by Gippsland Dairy. It ran from Monday 23rd June 2025 and concluded on Friday 18th July 2025. The prize was a minimum of $2,000 per day or the jackpot amount if it had rolled over. There were 20 prize winners in total across the competition period. NetRewards
